TBT: Worship

In the church

singing songs,

on the pew

feeling calm.

Near to God

as we pray,

without fear,

or doubt, or shame.

Far from toils

and trials hard,

among the people

who follow the Lord.

What better place

could you choose to be

than on the path

to eternity?

Background:

Sounds like one that probably started off in my church notebook - I need a more organized system, but nothing has changed. I still have plenty of idea scribbles scattered throughout my current church notebooks.

I hope you are spiritually uplifted and rested at the next worship service at your home congregation, or if you don’t have a home congregation, I pray that God leads you to one soon, one where you can worship, grow, serve, and connect.
