Background:
Sometimes, one of the songs that frequents my mental playlist, and at the most random times, is the song “Little April Shower” from Disney’s Bambi. You know, the one that starts “Drip, drip, drop, little April shower, beating a tune as you fall all around”? The rhythm that imitates the sound of raindrops is addictive, and the instrumental parts that imitate the sounds of rainstorm winds are *chef’s kiss*.
That’s the background. :) Not complicated, but pervasive.
We are each constantly in various stages of innumerable cycles, like the little flowers that make seeds and add oxygen and water into the air, adding to the very atmosphere in which they and their offspring will live.
You are your own type of complex, overlapping with so many others around you in so many ways, contributing to the collective environment in ways you might not even know.
Lord, help us live in the flow of these cycles, participating in the dance of life. Help us breathe and move in step with You, with our fellow beings, and with creation.
Wishing you goodness without end,
Jess
