And

Hear the call of lost glory aching to be renewed

and answer.

Swim in words of ways once known, so long forgotten,

and speak.

See a flicker in the dark and invite it to live in your heart

and shine.

Hold to hope and see the hunger leaking from eyes around you

and herald:

“He has been near.

He is here.

He is coming.”

Background:

The word “and” continues the story - praise God that Jesus made it possible for us participate in the “and.” We can recognize the invitation of God to every person to become His child and coworker in goodness and choose to accept it. In doing so, we will answer, speak, shine, and herald before the world in such a way that God is praised. He is with us.

Wishing you goodness without end,
Jess
